A Blist of the Classes I Will Be Taking Fall 2010

Woo! Last night I registered for classes. That was...an experience. It's hard to try and figure out what classes you want/should take from a 200 page catalog. I finally came away with a schedule I was happy with, even though I didn't get an art class.

1. University Spanish 3; daily, 7:00-7:50. Yes. I know it's early. But I totally had early morning seminary. I'm a pro. HA. But seriously, I had to fight for this class! I had to keep checking back on the registration site and didn't think I had a chance to get in. Luckily there was one open spot this evening so I took it.

2. Book of Mormon; TTh, 9:00-9:50. This should be a good class, even though it sounds like my professor is kind of intense.

3. Honors Writing and Rhetoric; MWF, 9:00-9:50. This should be a good one. Writing and rhetoric are kind of my thing, so I'm excited!

4. Honors Western Humanities 1; MWF, 11:00-11:50. I loved the humanities classes I took in high school. I know this is a little different, but it sounds really cool! The description is as follows... "Western civilization from Greek antiquity to Renaissance from perspective of traditional humanistic values reflected in its arts and ideas. Examines fundamental questions about human experience, formative events in history, and value of important literary and artistic texts."

5. Geography and World Affairs; MWF, 12:00-12:50. This might be the class I am most excited for. It looks so interesting and my professor got really great reviews on Rate My Professor. Apparently he gives slideshows of different places around the world, and all the photos are ones he has taken himself. Neat? I think yes.

So...that's my fall schedule! Even though I didn't get an art class like I had hoped, I think I'll survive. All I need now are some dishes for my dorm...and maybe a few other things...and I'm set to go!
